start over i have a microphone in which my daughter uses for online school work. I would like to use it to speak directly to friends in port augusta austrailia. I use windows xp have internet explorer and use google for search engine. I use yahoo as e-mail provider. they use big pond as their e-mail provider. I need to know wheter to use e-mail provider as a way to communicate directly? do I use google as the way to connect? do I use a web site to connect? can this be done? ty

Check out Skype, seems to be what most people use for this any more.
