    DeskTop Background

I am running WIN XP, SP3. Since yesterday I can’t select DeskTop Background It’s frozen. Background is white. Active Desktop Recovery trouble shooting don’t help. I did not install any new software nor did I change the background. During StartUp my selected background is showing up for a moment only.
Any one having a advice? Thanks in advance.

Hello, You can right click go to properties. try to change your theme from default xp to classic xp. Then try to change your background. Once change again do it. This will help you to prevails your old settings.

Thanks a lot. I found the error - it was the Explorer Ver. 8. I got to remove it and after a new installation everything OK.
