On 4-17th "Personal Security Virus" was installed on my computer Was downlaoding CCleaner I completely lost contol of my computer could not open much of any thing did manage to open IE found several sites that explained how to get rid of it & I did as follows:

Open My computer Choose Disk "C"
Find Programs Files
Common Files +>
PSecurity Uninstall=>
Run the file uninstall.ink

That seemed to solve my problem icons returned to my screen could open sites 7 use computer as usual BUT Am wondering if there is any more I need to do is "it \" still on my computer Do I need to hire someone to fix it????

I have AVG update Free version Ad-Aware Free update version Windows Defender Secunia & AdvancedCare System all which I use faithfully The virus got past all that

They truly are to the nasties.

and read then follow the instruction in the First Sticky on how to post your problem there.

Neal Sorry for the delay in getting back to you in regard to your reply.. I've had a problem Logging on for some reason, probably me but finally made it I will attempt to download Hijackthis
I have run updated (free) Ad-Aware I also downloaded & ran Malwarebyte (did uninstall it later ) but did locate & remove 4 different "Problems" so I think my problem has been solved but will do the Hijack this procedure Will report back to you after I complete it & hope I follow your instuctions will cut & paste & have it in front of me
