My computer has now decided not to print properly. Instead of (Dolls House Plans) it does NBL!B EPmt1pvtf any ideas.

You don't say what make of printer it is.
If your printer is printing gibberish instead of what you've type.
The it as a communication problem.
I would check and if possible replace the the cable between the printer and PC.
I would also go to the makers website and download the latest drivers.
Uninstall the present drivers and install the latest drivers.
Once that's completed I think you will find it will print OK

You could try deleting the printer then rebooting and see if XP finds it and reloads the drivers for it. That by itself may fix the problem. If not Jim23 has provided the way to fix it.

Another suggestion I have and I would do is un-install the software for the printer using Revo uninstaller, then install it again.
