Hello, my problem is exactly what the tittle says, but the problem start after the computer technician clean my pc, he clean all the internal parts and change the thermal paste of the processor. He disconnects and reconect the power supply, the video card, the RAM, the HD and the processor.
In the event viewer i get this error: perfnet 2004.
Tx in advance for your help.
Hi bacoazul Welcome to D-A-L
When you say "Computer freezes during operation" could you give more detail.
Does this occur whilst your PC is starting up?
Or is when you try to use a particular program on on your PC.
The error: perfnet 2004. is usually caused when server service isn't started in service.msc.
But I don't think that is causing your PC to freeze.
So could you give us some more details on exactly what your are doing when you PC freezes.
Jim
Well my pc freeze 99% of the time while im on internet, and most of the time when im watching/loading some video and at same time doing other stuff, sometimes the only thing that stop working is the network card, the led of the card goes off/on at like 5sec. intervals and the internet stop working, but most of the time all the pc just freeze and i have to restart it.
I already test watching videos directly from my pc, or putting the pc at full capacity but it works normal, looks like is just when im using the internet at full speed.
It freeze very random, yesterday it doesn't freeze at all and today has been like 7 times already.
Could you right click my computer and select Properties.
Now select Advanced tab and then under Startup and recovery click on the Settings button.
Now remove the tick from Automatically restart and then restart your PC.
With this removed when the PC freezes we will hopefully receive a BOSD(blue screen of death)
This blue screen error message is the information we need to analyse your problem.
If you start using your PC and it freezes hopefully we will get a BOSD.
Please make a note of the full error message and post it here.
To restart your PC from the BOSD just press and hold (not to hard) the power button.
Once powered down you can restart your PC in the normal way.
If you do not get a BSOD when the PC freezes could you download and install WhoCrashed.
From here Resplendence Software - WhoCrashed, automatic crash dump analyzer
When your PC freezes restart it then run WhoCrashed and you will hopefully see
details of what caused your PC to freeze.
Post those details here.
Jim
