    No Audio!!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi Folks,
    After downloading a driver for screen resolution, I've sorted that. But I've now noticed there's no volume/speaker icon on the bottom of the screen

    flyingdogguitar, you need to stay with one thread as they all seem to be related. Stop creating a new thread every time. Instead, reply in your existing thread. And as p6345uk said, you need to provide more information. If you've already done so before, that is yet another reason to stay with a single thread.

    These are all your recent threads:

    goto run type:- sndvol32.exe then see if your volume is muted or something. if not then type dxdiag in run. go to sound section see if driver is installed or not. you can test a sound directly in that section. Please let me know if your audio driver is there or not.

    noor,

    Your (Crystal) sound drivers should be here;

    Dell - Search - Home & Home Office

    Create a new folder on your desktop and give it a name such sound drivers
    Now drag the file into the folder you created.
    Now right click on the downloaded file and select unzip here.
    Does the file unzip with no error now?
    If not try the process above in Safe mode.
