Anytime Flash is loaded in the browser, the CPU shoot straight up to
100% until you close the browser. This problem occurs using IE, Firefox or Google Chrome.
Thanks for the help.
Hi Jason There is a add on in Firefox called Flashblock. Basically when a Flash content is loading it prevents it playing. If you want the flash content to play you click on a button that in the flash play area the content will then play.
More about flashblock here http://blog.taragana.com/index.php/a...ox-in-2-steps/
Download flashblock from here mozdev.org - flashblock: index
With this installed the flash content will only play when you click on the play button. This will then eliminate (if flash is causing the problem) the 100% cpu problem.
If the problem still persists you will then know the problem lies elsewhere.
If you have content in your home page you want to see don't disable java as suggested.

Can you check that you have the latest version of Adobe flash player.
In Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla and Netscape, Opera it should be 10.0.45.2
To check If you have the latest version could you go to : -
Here Version Test for Adobe Flash Player
If that is not correct follow the instructions on that page to uninstall
and reinstall flash player.
Jim
I have WIN 10,0,45,2.
Thanks
There could be a bottle neck in your system.
Could you give us some details on your hardware by doing the D-A-L Hardware Scan.
Found here Hardware Scan | D-A-L Computer Help
When the scan is complete post the link at the top of the page here.
You could try an alternative to Adobe Flash Player.
There are very few alternatives to Adobe Flash Player and I have never used any of them.
The only alternative I would trust is this one here.
GNU Gnash - Free Software Directory - Free Software Foundation
So if anyone on D-A-L has used or tested any alternative.
Or the one I recommend as a possible alternative. Their input would be helpful.
Adobe (obviously) would need to be uninstalled before installing the above.
Other than that we could look at your hardware scan to see if there's is a bottleneck.
Then give some advice on how to alleviate the problem.

Thanks for helping me with my issue.
I opened the Hardware scan link. The only thing I have on my screen is (Testing for compatability...). No update on scan just that message for the pass 2hrs.
Is the scan working?
Thanks
It sounds to me like you are having trouble with Flash Player because that test should take less than a minute. I recommend that you download and run the flash player uninstaller and then try a reinstall. Please read all instructions here.
