    Hi yazid8

You could download freeware SIW - System Information for Windows.
Found here SIW | System Information for Windows by Gabriel Topala
This will give you a host of information on Ram modules (called memory in SIW), hardware and software on your PC
You could use Crucial System Scanner tool.
which is a small program you download and it scans your PC and tells you what ram you have
and recommends how you can up grade it.
Its found here SDRAM, DDR2 and DDR RAM memory upgrades from Crucial.com
You don't need to buy from that site. But you could use the information supplied to search
for the correct ram you need in the budget you have decided to spend.
If you have any further questions about your ram modules please ask.

By Ram model do you mean what type of Ram do you have on your PC?

Ram is also known as Memory Modules or Ram modules.

When asking which RAM model i am using?
I assume you mean what type of ram you have in your PC.

If that is the question then doing what I suggested will give you the answer.

"clicked on hardware, then must click on memory right"?
    That's correct.
That will give you all the details of your PC's Ram.
Even the name of the manufacturer.

If you have any other questions. Don't hesitate to ask

When you run SIW then under Hardware click on Memory
Now in the right-hand pane Under Property
    You see Memory Summary
This tell you the you the maximum amount of Ram you PC can have which is called
    Maximum Memory Module size
Next is Memory Slots which tell you how many sticks of memory(RAM) you can have in your PC
This is usually 2 or 4
The information you need is under Device Locator Slot 1 this is the Ram module you have in slot 1
Part Number is the name of the manufacturer of you Ram module
Capacity is the size of the ram module usually 256MB or 512MB
Memory Type is speed of the memory which can be DDR, or DDR2 or DDR3 this is the information they most likley need
DDR SDRAM - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    explanation of DDR here

    explanation of DDR2 here
DDR2 SDRAM - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Hope that helps

Please ask if you need more explanations.

that's correct. If you have more than on Device Locator listed then you have
    more than one Ram module.
Each device Locator is an additional stick of ram
