    casino slot soooo slow

I am running xp and all is well except when I play casino slots they take an age to start spinning, I was told that it could be my internet connection but mother inlaws pc which is xp with only 256mb ram is fine on my connection. I have a pentium2 proc, 480mb ram and a 32 mb graphic card. Any help would be appreciated....

    Hi KingKong81 Welcome to D-A-L

Firstly could you tell us the make and model of your PC
Or alternatively do a hardware scan found here Hardware Scan | D-A-L Computer Help
When the scans finished post the link at the top of the scan results page here
We could then can check you network connections and system set up.
I also note from the information you supply that you have 256MB of ram.
This is not very much for windows XP and could be one reason for the slow down.
With the scan details we can advise on what you would need to upgrade this.
Do you have any Idea what your download speeds are and how you connect to the Net?
Some information on that would help us advise you better.

Jim, he said he has 480Mb ram, but also said he has a Pentium II processor. Though capable of running XP, if it's a Celeron then it has little or no cache and a 66Mhz FSB so I would not be surprised if it has problems running some games.

Then there is the 32 mb of ram on his video device. I recommend, if possible, that you upgrade your graphics.

Also he said both 256 and 480 mb of ram. Kingkong which is it?

"Jim, he said he has 480Mb "

Your right I'll have to stop my habit of speed reading.

Yes they games being played must be very old to only require that size of graphics ram.
