I have over 60 processes running on my computer. I think that may be what is slowing it down. How can I find out what all those abbreviations [process names] mean?

There's a small freeware program called Process Explorer

This will give you a far more detailed explanation of what's running in Task-manger.

If you still can't find out what a process is post it here or Google it for more detailed information.
