It means there is something wrong with the page you are viewing and there's nothing you can do to correct it because the problem is with the page, not Internet Explorer. You did not say what version of IE, I hope IE8 since that is much more secure than previous version. If IE8 (and to a lessor extent, IE7) you can try compatibility mode.
