Unhappy My Dell Will Not Hibernate

    Hi guys.

    My Dell Optiplex GX260 ... BIOS Version A06 ... Windows XP Professional ... Version 5.1.2600 ... Service Pack 3 ... 768 RAM ... Intel Pentium 4 ... 2 Ghz ... 13 GB free on the hard drive ...

    My computer refuses to hibernate.

On the properties power options, I have enable hibernation box checked and accepted.

It has hibernated in the past.

Thank you in advance for any help and information.

Perhaps disable it, restart, and then enable it.

What kind of mouse to do you have? Some, especially Wireless, can cause this type of problem.
