My friends computer has the internet security 2010 infection but she let it go for so long it wont let her log into XP. She can, however log into Vista on seperate partition.

When I attempt to log onto XP and click the profile icon, it says its logging on then immediately logs off.

I tried to go into safe mode to get better antivirus but when i started safemode, it displyed the checklist as usual, but then the system restarts.

Right now Im scanning the XP partition from vista, but I am lost, please help.
