Auto Play
The auto play procedure continuall pops up and even though I cancel it, it does not cancel. I will do this for nearly an hour. I have a Toshiba note book, 3 years old.
-
I would reboot and see if it stops - make sure there are no disks or USB devices connected.
-
Of course the only thing attached is a USB connection for a printer.
-
Is that "just" a printer, or a printer/fax/scanner/copier?
And "of course" only applies if it is obvious - from your opening post, nothing is obvious, except to you.
-
It is a Brother MFC- Printer/copier/fax, which I will never buy again.
-
Okay, and does this MFC, like many, also have a card reader? Perhaps that is causing issues with your auto-play. Just a thought. Does it show a drive letter when this happens?
