I have a Toshiba Satellite 2405-S201 and everytime I try to boot up, i'm getting the following message: <windows root>\system32\hal.dll. I've tried re-installind windows but it won't even run the the software. It won't even start up in the safe mode. When I try starting in safe mode with command prompt, it's not even respondind. Could this be because the hard drive is bad? Please somebody HELP!!
