Re: "Windows cannot load your profile because it may be corrupted"

The repair its self failed. There were several files it said it could not delete so I skipped those, Then it said it could not continue with out making one folder. For some reason it wasn't able to make that folder (can't remember what it was called. Ill do it again if you need to know). The repair stopped because it could not go any further due to not being able to make that folder. I then tried re starting the computer in safe mode, still does the same thing.

If you have any data you don't want to lose, try booting a Linux "Live" CD like Puppy Linux or one of the other bootable CD packages like EBCD, UBCD or best of all, UBCD4WIN. See if you can access the hard drive, CD/DVD-RW and USB devices that way. If yes then you can back up any data.

See this post by Happyrck on GeeksToGo for Puppy Linux:

Get the latest version available as the one he recommends is no longer easy to find.

These two are iso images you download then use your burner software to create the bootable CD from:
    EBCD
    Ultimate Boot CD

This one you have to build yourself and you need a Windows XP Home, Pro or MCE CD. Takes a bit of work to set it up but it's not difficult and when you boot it, you have Windows XP:

If you know the manufacturer of your hard disk you could download a ISO file from here:

Hard Drive Testing Tools - Top 7 Free Hard Drive Testing Tools - Hard Drive Diagnostics

Copy it onto a CD/DVD and test its condition through your DVD drive.

Thanks for the New Year wishes and the same to you
