I have a Toshiba Satellite P15-S409 laptop. The sound system has gone haywire. More specifically, whether playing a disc, or listening to Youtube, etc., the sound will be fine for 2 or 3 minutes, then will start to distort, starting with a little bit of static sound. Then the speech and/or music will start to slow down, just like an old 45 or 33 record would if one was to slow the turntable by applying pressure with a finger. That is, the sounds slow and become lower in pitch. This goes on intermittently for 5 to 10 minutes, then the sound ends completely. If I reboot once or twice, the sound will come back, but the same pattern will occur and I will shortly lose all sound production. Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?
