Have Dell pc....the operating system was widows 2000........?
had problem with the windows so I installed a copy of windows xp pro sp2(its not the original CD but a copy....could be not clean or so) the installation did not succeed due to missing some files that the pc could not find ....in the end I get this message((Missing Operating System) I tried to use the CD-ram(cd-player)it did not pop up with any kind of CD's....I looked inside the pc through f2 option it said the CD-drive not installed.....it is working and functions but the pc did not accept anything this this message((Missing Operating System)).....I tried online and downloaded boot disks (6 disks)for windows XP pro sp2 ..everything went just find with all 5 disks but disk # 6...its work for min and then comes with keyboard layout error,after that get this blue screen((((( stop:cooooo7b(bad image
The application or DLL\A:\kbdus.Dll is not a valid windows image.please check this against your installation diskette.......please read carefully and answer with you help....thank you very much.

As this is a (potentaily illegal) "copy" of a Windows install media, we cannot help or advise on it.

I suggest you either; obtain a legal copy, or reinstall Windows 2000.

Its original copy of win xp and with product kes and everything.....its just I say not clean when I mad a copy of it(copy means make another cd from the original) and both same just sometime they get not clean due to time.

I suggest you get another win xp copy because the one you have may have scratched. You can look for an OEM version and use the same key as the one you have and it will still work.
