Thank you for all the information. Well done.

I have to go out, but looking at your reply your computer would be still under warranty -

In the meantime when I come home later today I will research your problem. What browser are you using as the same thing was happening to me yesterday, stopped today, using IE 8.0! At this stage a bit of a mystery really...

    best regards,

To check which version of IE you are running:
    • Open IE
    • Go to HELP just under the address bar
    • Scroll down to 'About Internet Explorer'
As far as your Audio messages are concerned, please browse my Maintentance Program in my signature and particularly read after the heading Download and install the following programs. If you are not using some of the software please download, install, and run them on your system. Your temporary internet files maybe causing your audio problem. After clearing mine the audio messages stopped immediately.

Is your computer still under warranty being so new?

Re your Windows Updates, you most likely have them set on Automatic which I do not recommend. Please read this link to maybe decide to follow some of the advises there.

Post back if you require more asssitance.

    kind regards,
