I have a 500 Gig external Hard Drive with all music and Video. As of a week ago there wasn't a problem. I play 3 songs and the Music starts to Fade and play. i have tried to Copy the 5 songs and paste them on C: Drive. Thinking the F: Drive was having a Problem. I reinstalled both players. I'm Stumped even a Hint of a solution.

I am running WINDOWS XP and GIGABYTE Ultra Durable

ALSO as the 2nd and 3rd song is finished playing I here a screeching noise in the speakers its driving me crazy

As a first thought if you have a set of head phones you could plug them
directly into the sound jack of the PC to see if the problem is not related
to your speakers hardware.
If the sound problem still occurs post back if not then its related to your speaker hardware.
