I am having difficulty getting my computer to work. when i turn it on it goes past the setup menus onto a blank screen and nothing, pls any help would be great

There are some good, general suggestions for troubleshooting startup problems here:

Reset Bios default and CMOS will be a good way to start with.
Sometimes, the incorrected CMOS info can be corrected this way.
