can anyone help please ~ i cannot get any sound to work on my pc through internet browsing or emails, cds + dvds play with sound fine so speakers ok ! have tried internet options etc for pc settings with no luck, any help appreciated,

My "guess" is some of your sound associations have been changed. When did this problem start? Did you recently install a media player? Do your "system" sounds work - like Windows Start, Windows Exit, etc.?

What browser/version?
Did you try another browser? Same problem?
