I hope this is the right place for my query...

I connected my pc to the net the other day for the first time.... i use widows xp, and conect using a d-link wireless router and a realtek RTL8139 ethernet card...

Every 10 mins or so my pc shuts itself down without warning but this never happens when my router is switched off

help please

Ok, try replacing your cable "Ethernet cable" and check it will happen again.
