Unable to connect to internet since clearing DNS cache also lost sound.
Device manager not reporting any problems. Have taken machine back to factory default settings. Network hardware wizard not recognising network adapter. P.C is a desktop running XP and previously worked OK and was connected to network with my Vista laptop with no problems. Be grateful for any help and suggestions.

Did you reinstall all your drivers?

Hi Can't update drivers on that machine with no internet connection
unless there's a way to download them from another PC and transfer?
