    Re: XP monitor problems

    I change the screen size and it ALWAYS reverts back to the same sloppy shape at the bottom...like my screen is sinking.i noticed on the information tab in intel graphics file-there is a huge list of drivers i can choose to use.is there a correct one i should be on?.

    Here is a link to Everest Home Edition (CLEAN FreeWare)

    Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. Once it's finished loading and running, look under;

    MOTHERBOARD
    Post what is listed for your Motherboard (make/model) and the Motherboard Chipset description.

    Computer, Summary, Display, or under Display, PCI/AGP Video. This will tell you what display adapter/chip
    you have.

    Post that information exactly as it's reported.

    Unfortunatly, the most important info is still missing;

    Computer, Summary, Display, or under Display, PCI/AGP Video. This will tell you what display adapter/chip
    you have. Post that information. (Video Adapter and 3D Accelerator.)

    Post that information.

    Did you post the info exactly as presented by Everest? (Maybe I missed something.)

    Everest Home Edition;

    MOTHERBOARD
    Post what is listed for your Motherboard (make/model) and the Motherboard Chipset description.

    Most importantly...

    Computer, Summary, Display, or under Display, PCI/AGP Video. This will tell you what display adapter/chip you have. (Video Adapter and 3D Accelerator.)

    Post that information exactly as presented by the program.
