XP monitor problems

Re: XP monitor problems
Make/Save the video settings.
-
I have my setting on large fonts 120 DPI-you think that is why it does it?
-
Once you set the screen/font etc, it should stay at that setting until ~you~ change it.
-
If i try and save the settings it never really give me the choice to do so-i'm not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to Pc's.i have tried through the intel graphics controller to set the page right but never really give me the option to save.
-
You're given a choice when you make changes to disply settings to SAVE the new settings. (If you are simply CLOSING the window (White "X"/Red box) it will not save the settings.)

I went into display and went through all the options.went on monitor setting and intel(r)and set the screen right once again.
i have no save settings on my XP Pro. just says ok or cancel. So i don't see a why to save anything on here!.

You might try this:
Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)(right panel)

No-didn't work-my screen still sinks at the bottom of the XP desktop page

Well this is certainly strange. I asked another Mod (jephree) to have a look at this thread because I'd run out of ideas.
You're in Admin mode, re-setting display parameters at the OS level as well as monitor level, it should be "taking hold". Something (information) is missing somewhere.
To bad you can't "give control over to us" for a few minutes to see what the problem is. I'll admit that this has me stumpted.
