The "picture/screen" is fine once you adjust it, but reverts back to a "large" screen on reboots?

yes i'd say so.

Then somehow the "change" (to correct the screen) is not being saved by Windows.

Are you in ADMIN mode when you make the changes?

no i took the admin thingy off.

You have to have an Admin account. It's required. Look deeper.

i have a screen when i switch on the machine where u have a screen and to type a password on.
so i guess yes.

Boot into SAFEMODE and the Admin choice should show up.

I'm the administrator on this pc...what should i do next.
