    Question Retrieving emails

    We recently had to reboot our computer and the account info for Outlook Express was lost but is there any way I can set up the account again? I've got the User ID code but I clicked on Send/ Receive and it said there was a POP3 error (or something like that) and now I can't access the send/receive icon so I've obviously changed something in the meantime. My server is Blue Yonder if that makes any difference

    Hi,

    You need to go into your account settings and add the name of the pop3 and smtp server names to send and receive your mails. You will also need to have your blueyonder user account name and password.

    The server settings should be as follows:

    Access type is Web & POP3
    Email Address Format: yourname@blueyonder.co.uk
    Account Username: Your Full Email Address
    POP3 Server Name: pop3.blueyonder.co.uk
    SMTP Server Name: smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

    Hiya,

    Thanks for your reply. I thought I had it sussed but when I tried to send/receive it asks for a password but I tried all my usual ones and it won't accept any of them GRRRRR!!!

    You will need to go onto Blueyonders website to request a password reset.
