So, my computer works fine at my house, connected to my internet(verizon fios) , monitor, etc. However, when i go to my friend's house and connect to his internet (comcast) and peripherals here's what happens:

Can move the cursor, but cant click on anything
Keyboard doesn't work, except the windows key opens the start menu, yet can't tab through
Ctrl alt del brings up the task manager, but still cant click or tab

Can anyone tell me why this happens and what i can do to fix it?

If you do not connect to the internet does the computer work as it should?
