hi all
can anyone tell me how to uninstall and reinstall my OS for windows?
ive got an idea but not sure which files i need to extract etc .. step by step would be great if u can or maybe a link to help me .. thanks all

If it is a manufactured computer then follow the instructions of the manufacturer.

If you are using a retail XP CD then you simply boot it and follow the prompts.

Often in the former case your only choice is a "factory reset" which will format and delete all current data so if you have data you want to save you will need to extract that first.

In the latter case you have the choice of a Repair or Clean install. The repair should maintain your data and programs whereas the clean will format and delete your data.
