My computer when switched on had gone to the black screen that say use safe mode i selected normal the screen went blank then came back on the same screen so i pressed normal again. The screen changed again but this time it said beginning system restore I thought it was just going back to the day before when it worked fine. But to my horror it had gone back to factory defaults which means i have lost all my photos ect. Although some programs I had previously installed are still there? Unfortunatly I only have very limited knowledge of computers so I havent got a clue wot to do.

This becomes a question of how much do you want to spend?

For a price almost anything can be retrieved.
