Window madness!

    Window madness!

Ok...try to explain this in words...that make some sense.
I had my task manager window open...while I was working in VB6 writing a program...but not sure if this had any affect on what happened. But somehow I hit some key combination that totally freaked out my Task Manager window...I lost the menu bars from my Task Manager window completely. Now each time I open my Task Manager window it is a bare window with no menu bars.
I went to many websites looking for the keyboard shortcuts that I may have hit to do this and also for ones that will correct it...but to no avail. I cannot seem to get back my menubar for the Task Manager window.
    Can anyone help me?
    This is totally aggravating!

No one can help me out?
    Is this problem so difficult?
I suppose my only course is to reboot completely....but I am amazed no one has the savy to fix this...when it is probably some simple key combination. I am not good at shortcuts and hotkeys...but I am sure there is some way to reverse this.
Please...if you have any ideas on what is going on and how I may fix it...please post. I will be happy to try anything before I have to reboot completely.
    Thanks so much.

Well...it took me a couple days but I finally got it resolved!
So to pass along the info in case anyone else wants to know...since great little tricks are always fun to know.
It is called "small footprint mode" and it occurs when you double click in the frame of the window! It can be reversed the same way!
For me it was a huge headache, since I knew nothing about it...but now I do and so do you!
    Thanks for trying everyone!

Unfortunately there seems to be a lack of Staff monitoring this entire site. (I think I may be the only one.) Searching and performing research on two or three threads consumes a bit of time (not to mention Moderating/contributing to other sites). Thus threads will sit for three or four days before they can be reviewed.

Glad you found the answer. I'll offer apologies on behalf of the entire Staff for the delay.

Dan, thanks for the awesome response...
I have no bad feelings. I am just glad you offer such a place to begin with!
I solved it on my own and it took me some time, but all journeys worth taking do and anything worth learning does as well!
I appreciate your concern and hope my post will help anyone else that has this little snafu.
    Have a great day!
