I have bought new
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P

and Samsung DVD burner IDE interface. It is only one IDE devide in the system.

Windows XP SP3

I can read CDs or DVDs, but cannot burn any at any speed.

I checked my old samsung as well which is working fine with my old ASROCK mobo, but it is giving the same error.

I updated burner Firmware, buy it did not help.

2) I put it automatic IMAPI in services - apply--then reboot.

But still the same problem

error in NERO : reset occurred

invalid write state TSST corp ...

Could not perform End Track
burn process failed at 16x

3) I did more tests .

I can read boot folder on CD I burned. there are 122kB was recorded, but no files are recorded that I mentioned in NERO.

Is it Windows problem?

4) it is recording GHOST under MS-DOS!!

5) I uninstalled DVD, and installed it back.
6) NO problems in Device Manager!
7) I uninstalled NERO 6 by clean tool and installed trail NERO 9.
----STILL UNABLE TO BURN CD/DVD----

That was the start of my Drive Error....
It was a samsung DVD Writer. very frustrating! I understand it.
