files from nonworking to working computer thru usb?

Is their anyway to pull files from a nonworking computer to a new, working computer thru a usb cable

Here are what the computer are

    nonworking-Dell dimension 4300-Windows xp
    working-Dell inspiron 530S-Windows Vista

The nonworking just won't reboot, so the files should be undamaged. i just need to acess the c:/ drive or desktop

Answer the poll if you want, but tell me how mainly!!

    Welcome to techhelpforum.

Unless you have the capabilities of running USB at the basic/raw machine level on the non-functioning machine (since it won't boot), then No.

I suggest you remove the hard disk in question from the "bad" machine, and SLAVE it to the working machine, then pull/copy your desired files onto the working machines hard disk.
