i have a virus on my computer that dosent let me use things like windows media , flash , lime wire , frost wire ect . . .

i have tried downloading anti virus programmes but it will not work as the virus is stopping the download .


it has been like this 4 weeks n need it sorted .

Enter safe mode. Click on Start>Run and type MSCONFIG. Untick all startup entries and non-MS services and reboot. Try to install a good antivirus or antispyware sw and perform a full test. Once done repeat the same procedure in reverse for the startup items to turn them back ON. This method almost always works for me.
