The screen on my Acer Travelmate has started to grow black blobs on the front of the screen to the left hand side and in the top corners. My anti-virus shows as no problems but my screen is getting less visible. You can see the cursor moving behind the blobs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, that fact that you can see the cursor behind the blobs would suggest to me that the actual screen is becoming faulty. If you can, try plugging a normal monitor into your Acer and see if the blobs appear on that. I suspect they will not but give it a try.
