My laptop had a power interruption and restarted with a stop message

Attempts to reboot have failed. Any solutions please? Words of one syllable would be helpfull

insert your Windows installation CD, in your BIOS change the laptop to boot from CD and then select Windows Repair, it will fix the problems with the files missing / files corrupted and get you back up and running within a couple of ideas.
