Ok, I got a virus yesterday morning and spent the whole trying to get rid of them. After several anti virus software, I still have a white background which is a folder that's opened. I also can't system restore my computer to the night before all of this happened. Could someone please help me?

You could try to start system restore from a command prompt;

Keep in mind though that depending on the damage caused by infection, restore points may be damaged as well.

If you can start the machine into any form of windows (Safe Mode etc);
