some one has tken off my usb ports and now they wont work i dont have a disc to re boot it so what can i do to get my usbports working again

Can you ask this "someone" what actions they performed and why?

Is the O/S; XP SP2, or XP SP3?

Is the machine otherwise running OK with the exception of the USB ports?

If so, check Device Manager. Are there any "warnings" or errors or Yellow exclamation marks on any devices?
