Need to purchase new pc. Wanting to keep Windows XP. Any suggestions--opinions on how much RAM and HD to get in order to run: XP, HP All-in-One, MS Word and Powerpoint, Kodak Easyshare Dock, Creative Webcam. Would eventually like to add Adobe--Corel Photoshop. Do a lot of downloading songs to MP3. No gaming. We do store some pics but trying to put most on disc... Any input is appreciated.

I would suggest a 2.x Ghz CPU, 2 GB RAM, 500W P.S., and two hard disks. 160Gb to 250Gb range. One for the O/S, and one for data/program files. A DVD burner.

If serious photo/graphics work is anticipated, get a good graphics card.

If you'll just be "touching up" the odd photos/pics, then a motherboard with decent onboard graphics would do.
