I Have Win. XP Professional

The last two days when I start my computer up in the mornings, I get a blank black screen. The first day I rebooted and held the f-8 button down and everything was back to normal. The system ran fine all day. Today, it started the same way. I hit the f-8 button, nothing. I find my xp disc, put it in, restart, everything back to normal again. What is going on with this? Also, I hit the f-1 button and got the bio screen up, but nothing else. I am afraid I have a virus working in there somewhere. Please advise!!!
