Windows XP Service Pack 2 & Setting up a Wireless Connection on the PC

I have a brand new Macbook Pro and just put the windows xp on it. I cannot connect it to the wireless home network however. When I go to control panel-->network connections-->... there is no wireless option it only gives me LAN and phone line connections neither of which I want. The windows help engine tells me to go there and right click on wireless Network or Wireless something yet one I go there there is nothing that has the word Wireless. Also I downloaded Service Pack 2 on the Mac side and burnt the .exe to a cd. Yet when I go to install it in the window's partition everything goes smoothly until the point where it check for available space. It tells me there is not enough room to install the update yet the partition is 70 gigs with only 4 of that taken up????? I dragged it off the cd to the hard drive and when I tried installing it from there the same thing happened. How do I get internet working on the windows side and how do I install the SP2? Any and all help is much appreciated.

When you go in the device manager are there any yellow triangles on anything. Is the wireless card listed there? Do you have the drivers for the wireless card on a cd?
