Hi guys I'm trying to add some more memory in my compaq presario 2199ca (2100) laptop and I went to the Corsair memory config page http://www.corsairmemory.com/ and my laptop is not listed but when I pick Presario 2199US it tells me I should get this DDR-266 (PC-2100) SODIMM when I pick Presario 2197CA it tell me to get this DDR-333 (PC-2700) SODIMM. but when I pick Presario 2100CA it tells me to pick DDR-266 (PC-2100) SODIMM. So can someone tell me what will be the best for my laptop and will either of these work on my if I do order one or the other.

Visit Crucial, let it scan, and see what memory type is stated for your machine;

I would use the crossair one it said for the 2199us one. I would also suggest Kingston, as they are another top notch ram maker.

yeah I should of got the PC-2100 I think my MB can't handle the speeds of the PC-2700 which is 333MHz. I know there are program that you can overclock it but none for my chipset, so I think I will have to go with the 2100.
