Error Notice on desktop.
When I first open my computer I get an error notice, it reads....
RUNDLL
Error loading
C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEB~1\bar\1bin\MWSBAR.DLL
The Specified module could not be found.
This appeared after I ran "SPYbot-Search & Destroy? Is there any thing I can do ?
Regards, Maureen

Many consider MyWebSearch to be spyware, although the maker disagrees.
See this.

I would suggest that you simply do a system restore to the day before you ran the Spybot. That should put your computer back the way it was before the error. Then, you can decide if you want to uninstall that program from your rig. I would uninstall it if it were my choice.

"Error Notice". I do not want to do a "Restore" because I have just Downloaded IE 7. ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO FIND OUT HOW TO REMOVE THE ERROR NOTICE FROM MY DESKTOP! Cheers, Maur.

Maureen - Please note that ALL CAPS is considered YELLING. You do not need to yell at the fine folks who are here voluntarily, using their own free time, trying to help you - for free! There are more appropriate ways to add emphasis; bold, italics, or underline for example, or even a different text color or font. We would appreciate your understanding on this.
If you installed IE7 while you were experiencing this problem, then you are right, the System Restore will restore it back. For future reference, upgrading is not an accepted method to fix problems because with most upgrades, the upgrade process attempts to keep all your previous settings, customizations, and configurations - even if they are faulty. Problems should fixed before major upgrades. For installed programs, a complete uninstall of the old before installing the new is also acceptable. Unfortunately, since IE is an integral part of the OS, uninstalling IE6 before installing IE7 is not an option.
That said, you can always upgrade to IE7 again. Otherwise, try the link I posted above.
