System Restore problems...
Hello, I recently got a computer over eBay.
When I got it, the computer was as is and I wanted to do a system restore to get it to factory condition. I put the disc in and it asked me to restart. I did and it loaded with the system restore. I did the one that restored all drives and partitions and it let me. So it did it, and to my surprise only took a few minutes so I did everything it told me and I restarted the laptop. When it came back, it started the recovery again (which seemed right since it did it so quick before) only this time it asked for a different disc.
Having multiple discs, I figured that was fine and tried to put the other one in, however this time, the disc drive wouldn't eject. After waiting, fiddling and trying to open it, I decided I would shut the computer down and see what happens.
The computer turned back on but after the VAIOs splash screen it was just a black screen with a blinking cursor. It tries to load the CD but eventually stops, the cursor moves down a line and it sits there. No text, the screen is still blank and I still can't open the disc drive. If I press Ctrl+Alt+Del, it restarts the computer.
I'm scared to death I just broke this new laptop, please help!

What is the exact VAIO model?

Is there a "pin hole" on the face of the CD drive slot? If so this is a manual eject.
The blinking cursor just means the BIOS can find nothing to boot.

Actually I spotted the pinhole and tried it and it worked. Eventually I got it all worked out. Thanks for the help!
