Problem: I have software on my home computer that is password protected, and I do not have the password. I see that there are programs on the market that will recover the password if you wave the magic key over the asterisks in the password field. However, I have no asterisks in the password field. It is a blank field when it is asking for the password.

Question: Is there software on the market that will help me recover the password? Or is there another method of recoving the password within the computer? A way to find the asterisks?

Hi 10ring and welcome to Tech Help Forum. Although I am certain you are an honest person, we have no way of knowing that and unfortunately, what you are asking is how to crack protected software. That is against Site Rules. Sorry, but you need to find the original disks and key codes, and reinstall your program.
