Hi all

Have a question on something that has been buggin me about my dell laaptop and hope someone can help me out here. I have a Dell D600 Lattitude Laptop. My problem is when i view my system perfomance from the control panel my laptop spec seem to change,

under computer i see this

Intel(r)Pentium(r)M
processor 1400MHz
598Mhz,640 MB of RAM

The part thats confusing me is the 598 Mhz, this seems to fluctuate randomly and change. Curious as to why this would happen i was under the impression that the process was 1.4 as it says yet what is this other rating, and if my laptop is not running at full speed all the time, how do i change so it can. Ive tried messing with the power settings and cant seem to make a difference...if someone could please shed some light on these rating i would greatly apprecaite it..thank you

If you still have warnty from dell then I would call them. They will be able to explain it. I wish I had a better explination, as I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 with Windows Vista.
