    Can't find my drive letter

I have 2 hard drive install. My C drive is the master (300GB) and other drive as storage - 200GB (it has files and programs in it - about 150GB used). I re-installed my Operating System Window XP Prof ( SP1) but it does not assign any letter to my storage drive anymore. It does detect that my computer has 2 hard drives. I did a right-click on My Computer ---> Manage ----> Disk Management, I found 2 drives 0 and 1. 0 is my primary drive (C but it d does not have any letter drive assign to 1 which is my storage drive. It "Unallocated". Does anyone knows what's wrong with it and how to fix it? My computer run Windows XP Pro, 1GB RAM, and 3 GHz. All help will be appreciated. Thanks.

You should load SP2 before anything else.

Anyway that "unallocated" is saying that XP detects no data on that drive. If it were a new drive the solution would be to format (initialize) it. This of course will remove all data.

I'd suggest seeing if it is seen under the Device Manager. If so right click it and choose Uninstall then reboot. The idea here is to force XP to re detect it as it is.
