    checking file system....

1.when I start my computer it is going for "checking file system on drive " even though the shut down is proper. After checking the drive it is working normal.
When I shut down again restarting it again go for drive checking.
It is nearly taking More than one hour. The drive is having 10GB (Portioned drive)

    Q. why it is taking so much time?

2.I down loaded free scanning software (apart my AVG free edition) and scanned my computer. There it showed around 1045 errors in total. But the AVG did not find any.
The above problem may be due to down loaded software for scanning. Now I have removed from my system.

Q.What I should do if the starting problem persists?

Please advise me to my mail address: kkrao22@gmail.com

    Thanking you, Sir.

Prevent Check Disk Upon Boot (Line 294)

Check Disk - Disk Checking Runs Upon Boot
    http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_c.htm#cd

Check Disk runs on every boot: Note - I have seen this happen when Windows
File Protection has either been disabled or not allowed to run upon
    cancelling the bootup Check Disk.

    Suggestions and Checkpoints:

Go to Start/Run/CMD and type in: fsutil dirty query c:
    (Modify the drive letter accordingly)

If it comes back as dirty, it hasn't cleared. For more information go to
Start/Run/CMD and type in: CHKNTFS /?

Option: From a command prompt type chkntfs /D and then reboot, a chkdsk
should run but not again on next boot.

This edit does not work for all users, circumstances depending:
