What is causing my USB to freeze my computer intermittently. The freeze lasts about 3 seconds and they came come back to back or at intervals. The box that pops up saying I can fix this and click here, cannot be clicked as the screen freezes. I believe is the mouse USB at fault, however, I do not know how to fix it. For your information I do not have any bugs on my system, it is scanned every day.

Can anyone help?

Verbatim! Now that is a word I have not heard in a while!!

Sorry to say that I do not know. I still have the problem, however, I have not seen the box in a while. I could tug on my mouse repeatedly to try and coax it into popping up again, however, I am not sure if that will do more harm than good.

Are you unable to make any suggestion as to its cause and solution without the exact verbatim?
